An Umrah trip feels incomplete without spending time in Madinah, the second holiest city in Islam. Regarded with deep reverence as "Al Madinah Al-Munawarrah" or "the Enlightened City," Madinah holds a special place of significance for believers. It was here that our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) sought peace and imparted knowledge.
Located 450 km away from Makkah, many pilgrims spend the last days of their Umrah or Hajj trip in Madinah. The main attraction is the Prophet's mosque, built around the place he lived. This is the same city he moved to from Makkah in an event known as “the Hijrah” in 622 A.D.
